Dr. Son Ho was raised in Naples, FL and went to Rollins College for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and completed his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He journeyed half way around the world to Auckland, New Zealand and completed a surgical fellowship in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal, and Reconstructive Surgery. Despite his extensive travels and education, Florida is home and his passion is helping and empowering people to achieve and maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. Derek Chernin
While earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Nutrition from the University of Central Florida, I was also an integral part of the Three time All Conference Rugby Team. Coming from a football background, I began my own weight loss journey in College when I transitioned from football to rugby. Through developing my knowledge in health and the foundational value of a healthy relationship with food, I lost 30 pounds. Since that time, I have stayed abreast of the latest research that fosters a healthy relationship with food. After a time working under the Director of Sports Nutrition for UCF Athletics, I am very pleased to be a part of the Nuviva family where I can exercise my passion on helping others unlock their potential every day.

Growing up in a family with 6 kids, healthy, high quality food were not an attainable reality in Jessie’s upbringing. During college, Jessie pursued a degree in Health Science which led her to an internship at Nuviva Medical Weight Loss. While interning, Jessie learned a lot about health and nutrition and decided to try the program for herself. Through her success, she learned to change her perspective on food and became an avid supporter of the Nuviva program.
